Altar Guild
Provides for the "needs" of the Altar--that is, to purchase, repair, and maintain clergy and servers' vestments, etc. and provides liturgical items as needed. It provides flowers for the festal icon for most of the feasts. The Altar Guild raises funds by hosting the Sunday morning coffee hour. Members work at coffee hour on a rotating basis.

Ladies Auxiliary
Sponsors and prepares the suppers following Presanctified Liturgy during Great Lent. Bake sales and raffles enable the Auliliary to help St. Nicholas fill the gift bags for the children of the parish. The Auxiliary also maintains the photo archives.

Orthodox Christian Library Outreach
Makes information on Orthodoxy available to the community. OCLO sponsors programs, exhibits, and lectures on Orthodoxy.

New Haven "R" Club
Provides fellowship activities for Orthodox Christians and serves the needs of the Church on many levels. Our chapter is a unit of the Fellowship of Orthodox Christians in America (FOCA), an official organization of the Orthodox Church in America. The mission of the FOCA is to proclaim, share and reveal our Orthodox Christian Faith through service, fellowship and example. The FOCA is active regionally and nationally, with a variety of spiritual, educational, social and athletic activities while also working on important service projects which include seminarian family assistance, humanitarian aid and support of Church institutions and programs. Our chapter provides a scholarship program for our college-bound students and assists in parish youth ministry. Membership is open to all Orthodox Christians.

Orthodox Christian Seniors
Provides educational, social, and cultural activities and entertainment for its members. The Seniors hold luncheon meetings, invite speakers on educational topics, sponsor AARP defensive driving classes, and occasionally sponsor trips. Parishioners age 55 and over are invited to join.
